We market a SaaS product of our own
WTS CRM is our subscription product, and wtscrm.com is its marketing site. We wrote the positioning, designed the pages and built both the site and the application, so the problems on this page are ones we have had to solve ourselves.
- The product shown, not described
- The home page puts a dashboard preview directly under the headline, using demo data.
- Plans stated plainly
- The pricing page lists every plan and says which features depend on the plan.
- A trial as the first step
- The main action is a free trial, so a visitor can judge the product instead of the claims.
- Site and app as one project
- The marketing site and the application share one design language and link into each other.
What a SaaS website has to answer
Someone evaluating software works through a short list: what it does, whether it fits their team, what it costs, whether their data is safe with it and how to try it. A SaaS website should be organised in that order, with each answer one click from the home page.
Most of that is decided before design starts. We agree the audience, the positioning sentence, the page list and the one action each page leads to, then design the pages around them.
Pages a SaaS website usually needs
The final page list is agreed in the written scope.
Home
A one-sentence positioning, a real view of the product and the primary action: trial, demo or waitlist.
Product and feature pages
Each feature explained by the job it does for the user, with a screen to show it.
Pricing
Plans, limits and what each includes, with the billing questions answered on the same page.
Use case or industry pages
The same product described for each audience you sell to, where the scope includes them.
Security and trust
How data is stored and handled, stating only what you can support.
Blog, changelog or docs
Content your team publishes through a CMS, with each content type named in the quote.
Where the website meets the product
The marketing site and the application are separate projects that should feel like one.
Shared design language
Type, colour and components carry across, so signing up does not feel like arriving somewhere else.
Sign-up and sign-in routes
Buttons go straight to the right screen in your app, with plan choice carried through where it applies.
Tracking from visit to sign-up
Analytics events on trial starts and demo requests, so you can see which pages lead to them.
Independent releases
The site deploys separately from the app, so a copy change never waits on a product release.
Product interface design and application development are scoped separately from the marketing website.
SaaS website cost
A SaaS marketing website is usually the Startup Growth Site, from $2,500 USD. When the site needs interactive product explanations, several content types or integrations, it is the Custom Product Website, from $5,000 USD. The written quote follows a scope review.
A pre-launch product that needs one page and a waitlist can start with the Landing Page Sprint, from $1,200 USD. Indian companies can ask for a quote in INR.
Website packages and termsYes, as a separate scope. Product UI and application development are quoted after discovery, from the flows, roles and integrations involved. Many teams start with the website so the product has somewhere to launch. SaaS development
Usually one page: who the product is for, the problem it solves and a waitlist or demo form. The Landing Page Sprint covers that, and the page can grow into a full site after launch. Landing pages
If your plans are fixed, publishing them answers the question most buyers check first. If every deal is priced individually, the page should still explain how pricing works and what it depends on. It is your decision, and we will design either.
If a CMS is in the scope, yes. The quote names each content type your team will be able to edit without a developer.
We write the positioning and page-by-page messaging as part of the structure work. Full copywriting can be added to the scope as its own line, or we edit copy your team supplies.
Every site we build has the technical foundation in place: fast pages, mobile-first layouts, clean heading structure, metadata, structured data and a sitemap submitted to Search Console. Rankings also depend on your content, competition and reviews, so we do not guarantee a position.
Every website package includes 30 days of post-launch support for fixes, small content changes and technical help. After that, an optional Website Care Plan covers ongoing maintenance from $49/month.
